Fresh Air ( EXPO )


Fresh Air is not about politic, but want to try to have peaceful world, for a better understanding of social relations and that social pressures, of some country`s like, middle east ( Iran, Egypt, Libby, Turkey, Afghanistan, Iraq ) China, North core, Cuba and Africans to other country`s, that people have difference Definition  as, explain of freedom, Relative democracy, economy in social life, religious , Sexual repression and Homosexuality, ideology and ... .

Fresh Air hope that, creative artist with their perspicacity eyes can make bridge and understand relative between 2 cultures , for better understand each other in friendly cohabitation life. 
If you are an artist who works on these issues or feel inspired to create a artwork around those theme`s  (individuals or groups) as  paintings, posters, photos, cartoons, comics, video's, sculptures,digital arts, etc and my to join to our expo make contact with us. Often a jury makes a selection of the submitted works which together will form a beautiful exhibition.



An overview of the procedure of Fresh Air :
The work of the participants will be viewed by a professional jury. It consists of three artists in Belgium.

Participants by the jury into two categories: professional artists and young talents.
The goal of this collaboration is that an exchange created between professional artists and young talented. The young artists can learn from the experience of professionals, and professionals can become acquainted
 to the new generation of young artists.
Who falls into which category? And what are the differences?

Professional artists:
Are all artists who have enough experience in the field and made money from the sale of their works. 
If an artist by the jury in this category is placed, have no other selection and evaluation by the jury rather than more. Artists are free to decide which pieces they want to participate in the expo ( gaol: for respect to experience )

Young talent: 
The jury group will make best selection between young artists , those who want to participate in the exhibition and The work of young talents through another election by  the jury in another time.


The further procedure and deadlines:

Step 1  : Any artists want to participate in Fresh Air, professionals and young talents, must register by mail before 10 September 2011. 
Send an email with your name and surname, a photo portrait, your (professional) biography, website or weblog or minimal 5 photos of the artworks to nazanin.djavaheri @ telenet.be ( correct personnel information to print in catalogue ) 


Step 2 : We send the select results of jury ( professional and selection of young talent groups ) until 1 - October 2011  to all artists.

We will sent a photo of salon of expo to each artists too.

Step 3 : All artists (professional and young talents) should send a digital photo with the actual size of their artwork and the artist’s recommended price for that piece, which you want to have on display at the Expo, with good resolution (for printing in catalog and to enable optimal placement in saloon ) until 30 November 2011 to ¨ nazanin.djavaheri @ telenet.be ¨ ( if the Selected Price is not realistic, the organizer will consult with the artist to arrive at an appropriate item Price )

After that, we will send an information form to all artists, about any information about expo and works with insurance in expo (to each artist)

(We will need to have original artworks by professional artists, not later than 20 December 2011, at our location. ( we will send the address to any artists whose work is selected to display at the Expo)

Step 4 : The jury group have other selection process for young talents ( judge with digital photos) and these results should be sent to artists not later than 10 December 2011.
We will need to have any art works of selected young talent not later than 31 December 2011 to display at the expo. ( we will send address to any artist whose work is selected )


Notable cases :

All artists may  to have a maximum of 2 work in expo.
All artists are responsible for transportation, (send works to expo and send works from expo back to artists.) Artists should be able to pay all transport costs, send works to us, and so that we can send works back to artist, please provide complete and clear addresses.
Any artwork should to sent with appropriate packaging to expo and organizer is not responsible about any damage which occurs in transport. 
Expo will just keep artworks up to one week after expo, and after that deadline, any remaining works will be returned to the artists. 
Each professional artist have a full page in catalog of expo, and young talents have a half page. One complete catalog will sent to any artists who have work in expo.
In the event of a sale of any work on display at the expo, 50% of price of artworks is for expo, and 50% is for artists.
